The 6pm Club

The 6pm Club was founded in London during the formative years of international sports marketing and sponsorship, and regularly attended by senior executives from major brands, rights owners and pioneering marketing and media agencies such as; West Nally, TSL, CSI Sports and API, amongst others.
During the early 1990s, irregular gatherings were initiated and supported by sports lawyers, Steve Townley and Nic Couchman, plus sports TV producer, Chris Dyer. Some years later they were joined by Gerry Dawson who became club secretary.

With an annual calendar of events hosted in some of London’s most iconic social venues, including Soho House, The Groucho Club, Little Italy and Langan’s Brasserie, the 6pm Club has grown organically in popularity as an exclusive ‘invitation only’ informal networking group for senior executives in sport, media and related technology businesses.

Having endured three decades, the 6pm Club is now one of the longest established networking groups in the UK for professionals and entrepreneurs in these dynamic business sectors.

Introductions made – ideas born – new business won – career paths changed, and above all great friendships have been forged thanks to the simple and enduring formula of the 6pm Club

Membership is ‘opt in’, private and details are strictly guarded.
